Bayan(Customs Single Window)

Bayan system is an online single window/one-stop service offering from Royal Oman Police (ROP) - Directorate General of Customs that facilitates seamless, convenient and fast clearance of goods for trading communities & various stakeholders. The Bayan system provides a coordinated view of the government to trade community customers and reduces their administrative and logistical burden.

The Bayan System provides the following functionalities

National Electronic Single Window for International Trade and Transport Reporting
Customs Reporting and Management System
Risk and Inspection Management System for Customs and other Trade Regulation Agencies
It will encourage traders to report and clear their goods before arrival in Oman

The Bayan System supports the Government and Business Community by providing the following Services:

Declaration processing e-Service enables the Importer/Exporter (or their authorized agent) of goods to declare and clear the goods with Directorate General of Customs.
Manifest processing e-Service enables online submission and registration of manifest for Shipping Agents and Freight Forwarders/Consolidators. The service also enables electronic submission of manifest from agents system to Bayan system in predefined XML format.
Permits, Licenses & Exemptions e-Service allows Importers /Exporters to apply electronically trade permits, licenses and exemptions from various Controlling Agencies (CA)
